According to a report on KVEA TV (Spanish language Telemundo affiliate in Corona, Calif.), an organization referred to as C.A.R.E.C.E.N. (Central American Resource Center) is promoting a mass tantrum in gang and crime-bloated East Los Angeles, Calif. at 9 am on Saturday, October 16, 2004, starting at the corner of Lorena and Cesar Chavez.. Participants will be demanding amnesty for all invaders, driver's licenses, etc. Footage shown during an interview with the C.A.R.E.C.E.N. spokeshole showed a previous march where Hispanics blocked intersections, waved the widely reviled Mexican flag, and generally behaved badly.
A few hours later at noon there's another tantrum scheduled in nearby downtown Los Angeles that is expected to be larger. This one is apparently backed by reconquista Juan Jose Gutierrez and his latest scam outfit called 'Latino Movement USA', and the ever annoying Hermandad Mexicana National, of Dornan-Sanchez vote fraud fame.
