Tucson, Arizona -- July 22 -- According
to a report
in the Arizona Daily Star, the Mexican government may protest
ABP's test
of the Border Patrol's ability to intercept Weapons of Mass Destruction
being smuggled into the United States. "If the incident
can be confirmed, a formal letter of protest will be submitted
to the U.S. government," said Miguel Escobar, Mexico's consul
in Douglas.
"Thousands of Mexicans invade the
United States everyday," said Glenn Spencer of ABP, "the
idea that the Mexican government would protest if one American
set one foot on Mexican soil is the height of chutzpah."
