The
Fire of our Founding Fathers
The United
States is a world leader because of the unique conditions that
forged it. A special geography, a special time, and a special
people whose arrival on these pristine shores coincided with
the birth of the Age
of Reason.
The fire that was lighted by our Founding
Fathers, and kept alive by the sacrifice of brave souls, faces
extinction by a flood of humanity with a dissimilar history and
no memory of these things.
These conditions will never be seen again,
nor will the fire if it is ever extinguished. -- Glenn Spencer,
