Local Police Working with Border Patrol
Bisbee Police Aid in Apprehension of 240 Invaders in Three Days

Bisbee, Arizona (ABP) -- Following the lead of Cochise Country Sheriff Larry Dever, police in Bisbee Arizona near the Mexican border are actively working with the Border Patrol to locate and apprehend illegal aliens. In one three day period from April 26 through April 28, Bisbee police apprehended or aided in the apprehension of more than 240 suspected illegal aliens. One report had 200 illegal aliens near the town. "The leadership of Sheriff Dever is beginning to pay off," said Glenn Spencer of American Border Patrol, "With the help of local police everywhere, the Border Patrol can reach its goal of sealing the border this year."
