TV crew from ARD, Germany, spent yesterday getting briefing on the situation on the U.S.-Mexico border from American Border Patrol. ARD is the world's second largest public broadcaster, with a budget of $8.1 billion and 23,000 employees.
After a briefing by Glenn Spencer, head of ABP, the Germans filmed a demonstration of the Sonic Barrier, a system that could finally solve the border problem. Following the Sonic Barrier demonstration Spencer took the reporter and cameraman on an aerial tour of the border, including a flight over what is known as the "Amnesty Trail."
"After getting a complete picture of the border situation, I can honestly say these people were truly stunned," Spencer said. Producer Juergen asked why American TV doesn't visit ABP. He told him ABP was blacked out "because we know too much."
During the Sonic Barrier test a group of four people were detected 400 feet from the sensor line --- during a fairly brisk wind. Spencer explained that if the Sonic Barrier were installed along the border that leads to the Amnesty Trail, it could be shut down. Spencer said reporter Stuchlik seemed befuddled at the failure of our government to secure the border when the technology to do so was available. |

Report: US knew Benghazi raid was a terrorist attack within 24 hours
