Amnesty Surge Accelerates
Political malpractice?

"The word amnesty possesses remarkable power on the Mexican side of the line. It has the same effect as a starter's pistol." (Leo Banks, Tucson Weekly, Feb. 17, 2007) -- See Larger Chart
American Patrol Report -- September 23
Early indications that illegal aliens were flooding across the border in response to Barack Obama's amnesty program has been confirmed. Based on U.S. Border Patrol radio traffic data, enforcement activity along the "Amnesty Trail" has more than tripled since August 15 -- the start of the new Obama amnesty program.
"If this surge is in direct response to the Obama amnesty program, then failure of the Republican Party to point this out is tantamount to political malpractice," said Glenn Spencer of American Border Patrol, the group that produced the charts from data provided by secureborderintel.org.

Mexico analyzing U.S. probe on Fast and Furious
Mexico's Attorney General's Office said it is studying a U.S. Justice Department report on Operation Fast and Furious, a federal undercover sting that allegedly allowed some 2,000 weapons to be smuggled south of the border. -- The AG's office said Friday in a statement that "the introduction of weapons into the nation's territory without compliance with applicable legal requirements constitutes a crime."

As usual, Comrade Obama's criminal minions are above the law
Two senior officials who were criticized for their roles in the "Fast and Furious" gun-running operation by the Justice Department's inspector general will not be disciplined because the department disagrees with the criticism, according to a Justice official. -- Gary G. Grindler, the current chief of staff to Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. and his former deputy attorney general, was cited in a report...

Hedgecock calls out race-obsessed Obamanoid Matthews
Roger Hedgecock, the former San Diego mayor turned conservative talk radio host, called MSNBC's Chris Matthews a liar to his face Friday evening. -- This resulted in quite a heated exchange between the two on HBO's Real Time: Chris Matthews: The big lie is that the people who make a lot of money were the only ones who worked hard. You go to D.C. – I say this a million times, I'm going to keep saying it to the people out there with a little racial problem...

Karen Weinstock: Immigration lawyer, anti-enforcement bigot and...
Heads up to all pro-enforcement readers concerning a Georgia immigration lawyer who is rabidly anti-enforcement and who runs a blog on which she works hard to demonstrate her mindless resentment of Americans who demand that we enforce immigration laws: Karen Weinstock, also rumored to be a suspected...

Obama's "green" boondoggles
The Obama administration distributed $9 billion in economic "stimulus" funds to solar and wind projects in 2009-11 that created, as the end result, 910 "direct" jobs -- annual operation and maintenance positions -- meaning that it cost about $9.8 million to establish each of those long-term jobs. -- At the same time, those green energy projects also created, in the end, about 4,600 "indirect" jobs – positions indirectly supported...

Obama White House flip-flops on embassy attack in Libya
After almost one week of blaming the terrorist attack of a U.S. consulate in Libya and the killing of the American ambassador on an obscure YouTube.com video and denying a terrorist connection to the attack, the President Barack Obama, the White House and the Obama administration on Thursday and Friday slowly changed their tune with a near-perfect example of a political flip-flop...

Phoenix Police: Officer wasn't wrong in ICE arrest
Just days after police began enforcing the "show me your papers" provision of Senate Bill 1070, the Phoenix Police Department is facing an accusation that one of its officers used racial profiling to pull over a car with three Hispanic men who turned out to be in the country illegally. -- It is the first allegation of racial profiling leveled against a local law-enforcement agency since a federal judge on Tuesday lifted an injunction...

Diversity forever
The University of California, San Diego has done it again. Last year, it announced the creation of a new diversity sinecure: a vice chancellor for equity, diversity, and inclusion. Campus leaders established this post even as state budget cuts resulted in the loss of star scientists to competing universities, as humanities classes and degree programs were eliminated to save money, and as tuition continued its nearly 75 percent...
