Bloomberg: Nobody Crosses the Border Anymore
Is this true? Does Fox News care?
American Border Patrol -- August 31
"...nobody has come across the border in a long time." (See source of map in background)
On Aug. 14 New York City Mayor Bloomberg said "Number one nobody has come across the border in a long time."
Our friends at secureborderintel.org (we have worked together for ten years) are doing a fantastic job of gathering intelligence along the border south of Tucson. We cannot reveal their sources except to say that they are very solid. (These reports cover just a part of the Tucson Sector southwest of Tucson.)
A week ago we reported a possible surge of illegal immigration. The latest reports confirm this surge.
In the first week of August there 8 actions per day involving illegal aliens in this small area. By Aug. 27 that rate had jumped to 16 – or double. On August 27 alone there were 26 reports and agents were working multiple groups simultaneously. In one incident four separate groups were spotted between mileposts 16 and 20 on Arivaca Road west of I-19.
Does anybody care that the Mayor of New York – a powerful media magnate – is lying about the border? Does Fox News have the courage to come to Arizona and get the truth?

So much for "no path to citizenship" for DACA DREAMers
When President Obama announced on June 15 that he would bypass Congress and offer legal status to the so-called DREAMers, he said: "Now, let's be clear --- this is not amnesty, this is not immunity, this is not a path to citizenship." False on all three counts, as it turns out. -- The grant of Deferred Action status is obviously an amnesty, as it will allow as many as 1.75 million illegal aliens to stay in this country...

Obama's sneaky, deadly, costly car tax
While all eyes were on the Republican National Convention in Tampa and Hurricane Isaac on the Gulf Coast, the White House was quietly jacking up the price of automobiles and putting future drivers at risk. -- Yes, the same cast of fable-tellers who falsely accused GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney of murdering a steelworker's cancer-stricken wife is now directly imposing a draconian environmental regulation...

California Democrats shakedown businesses to pass tax hikes
Shakedown politics may be nothing new in Chicago, however, for California businesses strong-armed tactics are being employed to push unrestrained legislative spending. For example, large businesses are told to pay up in support of Proposition 30 or face the wrath of harmful legislation by lawmakers loyal to the unions. -- "The governor and Democratic legislators are extorting large companies," said George Runner...

Mexico and the fundamental transformation of the United States
The one that will happen with Obamacare. That other transformation is the one caused by illegal immigration, especially illegal immigration from Mexico. -- A conservative estimate is that there are about 15 million illegal [aliens] in the United States. The Big Rock Candy Mountain
People on both sides of the political spectrum believe our country is more polarized than ever, and it is accelerating. I believe they're right. Why is that? Full disclosure: for those of you who are not regular readers of this column, I'm a conservative. I write from that perspective and with that bias, but I spent fifteen years as a true-believing, politically-active leftist before moving rightward in my world view...

That's racist!
Thumper the Rabbit's parents always taught him, "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all." If the Left's self-appointed Omniscient Diviners of True Meaning have their way, conservatives in the public square won't be left with anything at all to say. Ted Cruz more hawkish than me?
The presumptive next senator from Texas told Telemundo that he thinks a President Romney should revoke the "deferred action" amnesty for whoever manages to get it before Obama and his crowd are booted out. Voter ID unlikely to pass in NJ despite 'rampant' voter fraud, RNC delegates say
