Democrats to Kill Border Fence?
Anti-Americanism Taken Over the Nation's Capitol?
American Patrol Report -- October 5
According to GovernmentExecutive.com, the Homeland Security Appropriations bill "will probably not include controversial language requiring the Homeland Security Department to build 700 miles of reinforced double-layered physical fencing along the Southwest border." The report goes on to say, "the department and other lawmakers say 700 miles of double-layered fencing is both expensive and not needed..."
Supporters of the fence say otherwise. "Illegal immigration has already destroyed California and the only thing that has proven effective in stopping it is opposed by liberals," said Glenn Spencer of American Border Patrol.
Spencer pointed out that the Secure Fence Act of 2006 was approved overwhelmingly by the House and Senate, but that only 35 miles of the original 700 mile double fence have been built."
The government has been lying about what it was building and the media have been playing along, including Lou Dobbs," Spencer said.
"If the Democrats kill the only thing that stops illegal immigration, the American people should understand that anti-Americanism has taken over the nation's capitol," Spencer added.
