"Our Border" Posts Important ABP Video
American Border Patrol -- September 4
On September 1, we expressed some concern that a new Web site created by the Department of Homeland Security would not allow postings by American Border Patrol. After joining the network and posting some blogs and videos, the DHS site, "Our Border," finally posted one of our blogs and one of our videos. Most importantly, the video they allowed to be posted was one of the most important ABP had produced. It is called "The Fence and the Mexican Drug War," and, if you go onto the DHS "Our Border" site and click on "Videos", you will see it posted.
The ABP video establishes a link between the construction of border fencing and barriers and the Mexican drug war and, if the theory is correct, the implications in terms of our dealings with Mexico are significant. One visitor to the site, Jim Eckland, sent us a message: "Excellent Video!!" (Go the DHS Members Page and search for Spencer to see this and other comments)
Now that the Department of Homeland Security has allowed the public to consider the possibility that the Mexican drug cartels are fighting each other because our new fencing has cut access, maybe Fox News and the other media outlets will do the same. |
