Bush Attacks U.
S. Sovereignty
Would Let World Court Rule Over Us
|
|
Lou Dobbs Tonight -- CNN -- October 10
Rep. McCall:
They see a Mexican national that's come into our state, violating
our state laws, brutally raped and brutally killed two girls.
And then they use this counselor notification
loophole, if you will, to get a federal -- a foreign tribunal,
again, to intervene and get them off Death Row. I think our constituents
are outraged about this case.
Rep. Poe: Let me follow up on
that, Lou. I was a judge when this occurred. I've met the families
of the victims. And even under Texas standards, which has a lot
of notorious killings, this is one of the worst.
This defendant, his guilt is overwhelming.
He confessed. He bragged about killing these two girls. And he
never once complained about this counselor issue for ten years.
And now he wants to avoid the fate of the death penalty, and
it's very, very unfortunate.
People are very irritated about the position
the president has taken in this case.

Bush
crushes justice for victim families
As usual, American families bear the
brunt of President Bush's open-border obsession. The most recent
case is that of the Texas girls who were brutally gang-raped
and murdered in 1993. Mexico's man in the White House is putting
foreign interests first, by insisting that one of the gang that
killed them not be put down. |
