Graham Gets Religion As Republicans Seek
His Ouster
 |

Lindsey Graham -- Not

|
Lou Dobbs Tonight -- CNN -- August 7
Wian:
Grahams' approval rating in South Carolina plunged to 31 percent
after he supported a failed effort to give amnesty to millions
of illegal aliens. He
also spoke to the National Council of La Raza and suggested
only bigots would oppose so-called comprehensive immigration
reform.
Graham: We are not going to run people down. We are not
going to scapegoat people. We are going to tell the bigots to
shut up and we're going to get this right.
Wian: But now he's talking tough on border security.
Graham: We will never be safe until we secure or borders,
control who comes to our country and make sure they are here
on our terms, not theirs. The biggest problem that faces this
nation from broken borders, visa overstays, out of control immigration
is a national security problem. That's why I'm going to get back
up on the horse.
