Study Report
American
Border Patrol, the non-profit border technology organization,
is preparing a classified report to be delivered to selected
Congressional leaders in early January. According to ABP head
Glenn Spencer, the report presents a detailed analysis of actual
Border Patrol enforcement actions, including the use of technologies
such as the Predator
B unmanned aerial vehicle. The report will be classified
because of sources and methods used in its preparation Spencer
said. "Our goal is to provide Congressional leaders a window
into the real world of the Border Patrol," Spencer said.
ABP plans to release a sanitized version of the report in February. |

America's
Worst Generation
...Certainly, in lectures I have given
at colleges, globalization, outsourcing and immigration are great
worries of college students. This generation of college students
is far less likely to join in the deconstruction of American
society because they have experienced economic decline, not the
expansive level of wealth of the post- WWII generation. |

Bitter
debate over 'birthright citizenship'
A proposal to change long-standing federal

on U.S. soil ran aground this month in Congress, but it is sure
to resurface - kindling bitter debate even if it fails to become

House
immigration bill rates a solid C+
The U.S. House of Representatives recently
approved a bill, the Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal
Immigration Control Act of 2005 (HR 4437), that when measured
against what is really needed, comes in as a good solid C+ on
the secure American borders/ enforce American laws report card. |

claim walls won't stop the onslaught
Translated item from a Mexico City paper
featuring remarks from numerous Mexicans about U. S. legislation
mandating the construction of about 700 miles of fencing along
the border to stop the onslaught from Mexico. Most comments reflect
an attitude of defiance and arrogance. All claim the invasion
can't be stopped. |

Keep
the Front Door of Legal Immigration Open
The so-called Border Protection, Antiterrorism,
and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005 (H.R. 4437) currently
under consideration in the U.S. House of Representatives is so
overreaching that, in my opinion, it could become the Proposition
187 of the 21st century. It should be recalled that Proposition

Rampant
invasion changing Las Vegas
Feliz Navidad. If you don't know what
that means, you had better find out. -- The most significant
demographic change in Las Vegas in the past 15 years is neither
the emergence of a retirement community nor the growth of a transplanted
upper- middle- class. It is, wholeheartedly and without a doubt,
the remarkable growth of the Spanish-surnamed population. |
