"...total
denial of the magnitude of the disaster"
Washington -- The deployment
of 36,000 National Guard troops or state militia on the U.S.-Mexico
border would stop the illegal flow of foreigners into America,
says a congressional
report that credits the Minuteman Project with proving that
additional manpower could "dramatically reduce if not virtually
eliminate" illegal immigration.
The 33-page report, written by investigators
for the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, said the Minutemen
- who shut down a 23-mile stretch of the Arizona border last
month - served as a model for a government effort to reclaim
the southern border of the United States. |

bill will incite new invasion
U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth dismissed an

not become law. -- The legislation, entitled The Secure America
and Orderly Immigration Act, "would only encourage a new
wave if illegal aliens to invade the United States and make America's
uncontrolled and unacceptable immigration debacle even worse
than it is now," Hayworth said. |

New
law will help curb illegal immigration
The good news is, since 9/11, federal
officials have rightly beefed up security at our airports. The
bad news is illegal immigrants continue to find an opportunity
along our porous borders - so much so, that those entering the
United States illegally this year will out-pace lawfully-entering
immigrants three-to-one. |
