volunteers wrap up month along Arizona border
Naco, Ariz. -- The controversial Minuteman
Project is finishing patrolling parts of the Arizona border this
weekend. -- Minuteman leaders say in the last month, that nearly
900 volunteers have alerted federal authorities to 335 cases
of illegal aliens trying to cross into the United States. |

Bryan, Texas (AP) -- An ice cream vendor
has been charged with injury to a child after being accused of
burning several children by having them hold dry ice in their
hands, police said. -- Roberto Martinez Sanchez, who sold ice

month. That few people around here were much impressed with a

..."It's not a coincidence,"
says Pilar Marrero, political editor for the Spanish- language
daily La Opinión [a notorious Mexican propaganda rag],
that Schwarzenegger made the comments on "the same day his
numbers are going down. He's trying to distract attention from
the fact that he's losing steam. -- "I heard it yesterday
and it made me sick to my stomach," Marrero says. |

MALDEF spokeshole lies about
Minuteman Project
Hector Villagra, a MALDEF
staff attorney, was observed lying about the Minutemen on KABC-TV
news 6 am edition Saturday morning. Villagra, a long-time Mexican
invasion cheerleader, told a reporter that the Minutemen were
"stopping immigrants" and "holding them at gunpoint."
No invaders were held at gunpoint by anyone involved in the project.
Villagra was also whining about Schwarzenegger's
recent remarks. |
