American Patrol's
Person of the Year
Rick Oltman was key to success of Arizona Proposition

Years
of Dedication and Discipline
Arizona's Proposition 200 will go
down in history as a turning point in the battle against illegal
immigration. While many played a part in the success of this
ballot initiative, the one person who made the difference between
victory and defeat was Rick Oltman of the Federation
for American Immigration Reform. Rick went out on a limb
to raise the funds to gather the signatures needed to get the
initiative on the ballot. He used his excellent diplomatic skills
to keep the Protect Arizona Now team together despite severe
internal stress. The success of Proposition 200 is but one of
many of major contributions that Rick Oltman has made in the
fight against illegal immigration. He is American Patrol's 2004
Person of the Year. |

America - One
Big Roach Motel
...I predict that in 2005 Canada's population
of former USA citizens will increase by numbers as never before
in the history of our country. At our Borders they are letting
IN Mexicans and others, but trying to not allow AMERICANS to
LEAVE. If you don't believe this, do the research.... there are
plenty of accounts of this throughout this past year. |

Not
all illegals are equal
I mean, not that some illegal "immigrants"
are free to violate the America's border and her immigration
laws while others are not, but, quite obviously, not all of them
inflict the same amount of damage to our country. So, there is
no good reason to pretend that it doesn't mater who they are
or where do they come from, except, perhaps, for the fear of
being labeled "racist" by some notoriously chauvinistic
groups like MEChA and La Raza. |

visas for skilled foreigners debated
Jai Shanker arrived from India as a young
technology worker through a program that lets American employers
search the world to temporarily hire skilled workers they say
are hard to find in the United States. -- Now Shanker is a naturalized
U.S. citizen and an out- of- work technology manager who wants
limits on visa programs like the one that brought him to the
United States. |

angry over Muslim cemetery
Somerville, Tenn. (AP) -- Muslims planned
to turn an old sod farm near Memphis into a cemetery, but angry
neighbors protested, complaining the burial ground could become
a staging ground for terrorists or spread disease from unembalmed
bodies. -- It was not the first time a group faced opposition
when trying to build a cemetery or a mosque... |

Mexican invasion station trolls Evansville
The number of Hispanic immigrants in
the Evansville area and the Tri-State is anybody's guess at this
point. -- Data from the 2000 census (which indicated that nearly
12,000 Hispanics lived in the 26 area counties) were considered
inaccurate to begin with and quickly became outdated by the continuing
influx of newcomers. |

Secure
our borders
[Scroll down to find this item] -- President
Bush hasn't a clue how to deal with illegal immigration and our
border problem. He states that the Border Patrol ought to be
"chasing crooks and thieves and drug runners and terrorists,
not good- hearted people who are coming here to work." --
These are illegal aliens he's talking about, many of whom are
here to work the system, not work. |

Program
educates Hispanics about DUI
Sunnyside, Wash. -- To make the roads
safer this holiday season, the state Traffic Safety Commission
adopted the slogan "Drive Hammered, Get Nailed." --
But state officials worry some Spanish-speaking drivers aren't
getting the message. --- Joanna VanDyk says Yakima County was
chosen because about 55 percent of local men ages 16 to 34, traditionally
the largest group of DUI offenders, are Hispanic. |

spews defeatist swill on Mexican invasion
Any discussion of the U.S.-Mexico illegal
immigration scene should take into consideration certain basic
assumptions: Outflow from Mexico to the U.S. - "the
push" - will continue at high rates until the Mexican economy
can provide sufficient work opportunities and decent standards
of living to a far greater percentage of its population... |

...The state and counties spend roughly
$750 million a year to incarcerate immigrant felons, whose presence
in this country is constitutionally a federal responsibility.
But Washington contributes no more than $120 million to that
expense. Bush
tried to eliminate this year's funding altogether. |
