Urges Immediate Action
Sierra Vista, Az. -- Glenn Spencer,
head of American
Border Patrol (ABP), is urging President Bush place the U.S.
military on the Mexican and Canadian borders to stop all illegal
immigration. Spencer said that Al Qaida terrorists could be massing
near the Mexican border in order to move in for quick strikes.
"We know exactly how they could
do it with impunity," Spencer added. "The president
of the United States' first obligation is the protection of the
American people - not to put them at risk for political gain."
Spencer said ABP will be using all of
its resources to monitor the border this week. |
