a shooting at a truck stop in Troutdale along Interstate 84 was
gang-related. -- Four Hispanic men were arrested in Gresham after
witnesses gave a description of their car. The men told police

Two men were charged Monday with stabbing
a teenager after exchanging taunts about rival Hispanic gangs
at the Mall of America in Bloomington (Minnesota) three weeks
ago. -- The victim, a 17-year-old Minneapolis boy, remained in
critical condition Monday at Hennepin County Medical Center,

In No Hurry To Deport Parents Whose Child Died
A Westminster couple facing deportation
to Mexico as early as Tuesday will apparently get to stay in
Colorado awhile longer. -- Pedro and Susanna Hernandez are illegal
immigrants who received a humanitarian permit to remain in the
country while caring for a child with leukemia. Oscar Hernandez,
6, died Nov. 23. The humanitarian permit officially expires Tuesday. |

a ton of marijuana worth at least $1 million. -- Investigators
were initially responding to a call from a neighbor who believed

Sonora, chief of police, one of his officers and two former police
officials Monday on charges stemming from an investigation that
began in November. -- Chief Jose Basilio Obeso Montoya was appointed
