Tancredo Says Immigration
Threatens Culture
Speech on Floor of House of Representatives Warns of Dangers
 |
Tancredo: "I
believe that manufactured diversity in every facet of our life
has a political motivation. It has nothing to do with toleration
of other cultures. [...]
"I am gravely concerned that our current immigration is
not of the same character of our historic immigration in that
the impact and effect will be to weaken our civic culture and
our political institutions that guarantee life, liberty and the
pursuit of happiness. "

Green-Card
Soldiers Don't Pass Muster
During the Iraq war, much was made of
the accomplishments of noncitizens in the military. To speed
the granting of citizenship to these "green-card soldiers,"
President Bush waived the three-year residency requirement for
naturalization. Sen. Barbara Boxer, Rep. Darrell Issa and others
have introduced legislation to ease citizenship requirements
for immigrants in the service or their families... |

Two years ago, 14 illegals died in the

a small slap on the wrist. Glenn Spencer is the president of

If
guest workers are needed, why Mexico?
Poland has hundreds of thousands of well educated
and hard working people who would be indefinitely grateful for
a chance to work temporarily in the U.S. They would obey the
law, and support this country in its struggle to make the world
a safer place to live, just like Polish government recently did.... |

Student to Governor: I'm Tyler Reynolds from
Stayton High School. A moment ago you said that it was good government
policy to give government programs to illegal immigrants. I fail
to see how that would be good public policy when it's illegal
to hire illegal immigrants for a job so the state's not getting
revenues back. All they are is giving revenues. |

to cross the Arizona desert during the summer. Arizona's deserts
can get as hot as 122º during the

easier to open bank accounts and identify themselves to the police. |
