11/3/03 -- To the Denver Post and Mike Soraghan (multiple cc's):

I respond to put the lie to Mike Soraghan's assertion that "attempts to reach Coe and Spencer for comment on the law center's allegations (that they are hate groups) were unsuccessful."

Mike Soraghan called the California Coalition for Immigration Reform during the week before the November first event. I took his message from our telephone "hot line". He stated he had talked with Coe in the past and now wanted her response to being called a "hate group". He left three contact numbers for him: two phone numbers (202)662-8730 and (202)669-9542 and his fax number (202)662-8996. I called the first phone number, got his answer machine and told him "any group that supports immigration control is called a "hate group" and I left my personal phone number for him to call back. HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL!. And now he writes an article that "attempts to reach..." were unsuccessful. Some kind of journalist.
