I have some experience here. I have been in the food-service business and have extensive knowledge of the scams and cons which illegal immigrant Hispanics have perpetrated. Have real knowledge of Car-theft rings involving several ex-employees of mine. Then there are the auto insurance fraud scams, which another acquaintance of mine, a Guatemalan immigrant, was involved in. Probably a half-dozen immigrants I knew were involved in cocaine dealing. Several others were involved in smuggling illegals across our open borders. As far as phoney ID's goes, it was an was an easy matter for these recent arrivals to obtain any kind of fake or stolen ID from the phoney ID marketplaces in MacArthur Park. Once they arrive, they so to the park, get a fake or stolen social security card, use a phony name on it, and presto, they are instantly eligible for a drivers license, welfare handouts, and free Medical at U.S.taxpayers expense.

My knowledge of these frauds and scams are based on the years 1984 to 1995.when I quit the restaurant business. Till now I have kept them to myself, for reasons of safety and because I knew that the predominantly left-wing Democratic power structure in Southern California would deny or downplay the extent of illegal immigrants' ripping off uncounted billions of dollars from the hard-working taxpayers. In fact, hard-working, tax-paying U.S. citizens are more likely than illegals to have the hard hand of Government come down on them simply because our government finds it easy to keep tract of US citizens. The illegals, on the other hand, being essentially (untraceable) and using phony ID's can evade the system, hide in the murky LA slums, or slip back across the border to Mexico. This was the way things were back in the heyday of illegal immigration in the 80's and 90's up to Sept.11.

Since the Sept. 11 attack and the accompanying slowdown of our economy I have become extremely angry and disgusted with the long-standing open border policy, which I am convinced has allowed a significant number of terrorist 'sleepers' to infiltrate into the US. Thanks to the misguided liberal open border policy we can look forward to another terrorist attack in the near future.
