Having read your press release, I am a little concerned. How many families have been displaced to escape the onslaught of illegal immigration and the terrible schools and other conditions that result? Millions. They now live in the blistering desert in places like Las Vegas and Phoenix, having left behind the more temperate climate of places like Los Angeles and San Diego. Are we to sacrifice our culture and standard of living to avoid discomforting the illegal alien?
There are individual stories that are compelling, and we must look at each person as an individual. However, we must balance interests and values in the overall scheme of things, within the rule of law.
The World Bank said that Mexico doesn't advance because of corruption and failure to adhere to the rule of law. Wouldn't a story about a Mexican business that failed because of corruption be more meaningful than the heart-wrenching travails of the migrant?
I am here on the border because bleeding-heart liberals sacrificed California on the altar of secular humanism, while at the same time forcing political correctness down our throats to stop the truth about Mexico from coming out.
I fear that your documentary will play right into their hands.
