Simcox Group Folding Tent?

According to reliable reports, the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, the group founded by Chris Simcox, will soon cease operations, if it hasn’t already. Simcox left the group earlier to run for the Republican nomination for the Senate seat now held by John McCain.
The current head of the group, Carmen Mercer, is involved in a tax scam and is being sued by the Attorney General of Arizona.
Although he backed the Minuteman effort at the outset, Glenn Spencer of the American Patrol Report criticized Simcox for a misleading campaign to raise funds for a border fence that couldn’t be built.
