Southwest Voter Registration and Education Project
(SVREP)
Friday,July 15, 1995 - Pasadena Hilton Hotel
Vice President Al Gore:
"We're proud to stand with you against Proposition
187. We'll fight Proposition 187 in other states as well. We're
counting on you - you hold the key."
Gore was selling
the sovereignty of the United States for a few votes - that was
the "key"
VCT had two hundred people in front of
the hotel demonstrating against the meeting because the next
day, SVREP sponsored a concert at the Pasadena Hilton Hotel.
What was it called?
VOICES OF AZTLAN!
VCT's
Glenn Spencer was interviewed at the demonstration by the Pasadena
Star News. He called the appearance by Gore an act of treason
against the United States.
