Reconquista Gloria Romero

So Gloria Romero wants illegal aliens (criminals by definition) to get paid? Romero began her dirty work long before she was elected to the California legislature. Romero was a featured speaker at the "Latino Summit Response to Prop 187" at UC Riverside in January 1995. After gratefully thanking the MEChA students for hosting that conference (500 Latino politicians, professors, radical activists and students pledging non-compliance with Proposition 187), Romero delivered her favorite statement: "Remember, a classroom is just another space in which to organize!" Hmmm. We always thought a classroom was a space in which to teach.

At that time, organizer Romero was merely a junior college professor and junior college trustee. Now a California lawmaker, she is most likely on the fast track to the U.S. Congress.
