Steven Greenhut's "Immigration at issue" is welcome to the extent that it exhibits the true disconnect between the media elite and reality. It is an outrageous misrepresentation of what happened on December 8 in front of the Anaheim city hall. Our group, American Patrol, was the principal organizer of the "In Defense of America" rally, along with the California Coalition for Immigration Reform. During our entire eleven years of existence, our sole focus has been on illegal immigration. Still, the biased media refuse to report the truth. We held the rally to protest the "passive resistance" of federal law by the Anaheim Police Department and other Orange County policed departments by illegally accepting Mexican government issued ID cards as valid for law enforcement purposes. As shown in our video documentary, "The Mexican ID Attack," these American citizens were set upon by a gang of racist thugs determined to suppress freedom of speech in America. This attack happened because the Anaheim Police Department allowed it to happen.

The melting pot is disintegrating. California schools have been destroyed. Our health care system is on the brink of collapse as is our public finance system. Illegal immigration has ruined the dreams of millions of Americans - many of whom have fled the state. We are rapidly running out of places to which to run.

Thank you, Steven Greenhut, for hoisting your ideas up the public flag pole. Now let's see how many salute.
