Re: Fight Erupts at Anti-Immigration Protest

Tina Bogatta's article, "Fight Erupts at Anti-Immigration Protest," fails to identify the reasons behind the protest. The fact that Anaheim is recognizing an identity card isssued by a foreign government, allowing illegal aliens to remain in the country, is not only against federal law, but a dangerous practice. With the nation on "highest alert," the people who have these identity cards, are not only illegally in the U.S., but have never been given a security check to determine if they have a criminal record. This flys in the face of logic and could set a dangerous precedent.
