Re: Anaheim City Council Meeting - December 4, 2001
I attended the Anaheim City Council meeting to protest the Mexican ID cards for illegal aliens in Orange County. Those opposed to the ID cards gave dozens of reasons why ID cards should not be accepted, ranging from being outright illegal to how illegal immigration was detrimental to our schools, neighborhoods and culture and should not be tolerated.
The supporters of illegal immigration speaking in favor of the ID cards resorted to calling their opponents racists, bigots and immigrant haters, the same old song. Activist Amin David even went as far to say that Harald Martin, Anaheim Union High School Trustee and an Anaheim police officer, was mentally unstable and a candidate for psychological counseling. The entire Anaheim City Council should be ashamed for aligning themselves with these hateful, anti-American namecallers!
