Mayor Hahn wants to mend his relationship with secessionists. As an ex-candidate for secession, Mayor Hahn has invited me by way of a letter (and the other ex-candidates) to a town hall meeting to air our grievances. The meeting will take place next Monday, December 16, 2002, at the Encino Community Center, 4935 Balboa Bl. (Just North of Ventura Bl. - Map & Directions) from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
I intend to bring up the subject of Special Order 40. I will tell him and the press (I have already been contacted by Jim Nash, of the Daily News who will be there to cover the event) that candle light vigils won't take back our streets from gangs. But deporting the illegal alien gang members will.
I would like a small group to station themselves outside with signs (I will provide the signs) and flyers.
