HELP DEFEAT ANTI-U.S. TRADE BILL H.R. 3005

H.R. 3005, the Trade Promotion Authority Act (i.e. "fast-track"), is scheduled for a House floor vote TODAY!
The U.S. Constitution clearly states in Article I (Section 8, Clause 3) that "Congress shall have power to regulate commerce with foreign nations."
However, H.R. 3005 violates the constitution by stripping Congress of its own power to amend trade treaties. Sadly, many members of Congress are content in throwing away their constitutional duties.
This dangerous trade bill would also surrender American sovereignty to foreign bureaucracies during trade disputes, and would likely lead to trade deals with the same ill effects of NAFTA during the 1990s, in which over 1 million American manufacturing jobs were lost to cheap foreign laborers. Please call your Congressman toll free at 877-762- 8762 or (202) 224-3121 and demand he vote "NO" on H.R. 3005.
