Position on the most vital issue facing the State and the Nation

Barry L. Hatch, Candidate for US Senate -- State of California

(Posted 12/23/03)

As illegal immigration continues and amnesties loom over us in Washington, we see out great State becoming just another Hispanic country. Our cities and counties become Spanish speaking, so it follows that the seats in both houses of congress will be Spanish speaking.

Two decades ago, as a city councilman, I spent my entire term warning of this threat. This provoked a city recall. Sixty percent of the voters favored my remaining as their councilman.

My efforts to stop illegal immigration and sustain sovereignty of our nation brought this statement, "Hatch is a bold man, so uncompromising that he sometimes shocks his own supporters"(L.A.Times, Oct. 8, 1988). I will be more that bold this time around.

The first priority as your Senator will be to make a call on our President and inform him that California as well as most of the nation demands as end to illegal immigration. I will inform him of a pending federal imitative that will allow the entire nation to vote on the immigration issue.

I will work to for a group of members from both houses to become activists and, along with the above mentioned initiative, make immigration the number one issue in this nation.

As a city councilman in a city of 60 thousand, I make immigration a world wide (Europe-Asia) issue. Think what I can do as your Senator, representing California and this Nation.

Twenty years ago, not too many people could support me. It was not politically correct. Today, the electorate are much more savory to government intimidation.

Give me your trust, your vote, and I will give you back your country. Time is short by I know we can succeed. Without question we must and will succeed. With your support in spreading the word, we can triumph.

Sincerely,

Barry L. Hatch
Candidate for US Senate - California
