Tony Cardenas is a member of a city council that has unanimously supported the acceptance of the ludicrous Mexican consular ID card, and supports 'Special Order 40', an unconstitutional order that prohibits the police from cooperating with the INS. Los Angeles is a 'sanctuary city', and the incompetent, half-baked mayor has referred to L.A. as a 'Mexican city'. Los Angeles is bloated with 'immigrants' whose very presence on U.S. soil is criminal. This buffoon also supported the 'Immigrant Workers Freedom Ride', a gaggle of illegals and their supporters organized by radical crackpot labor leader Maria Elena Durazo, who had the audacity to rant and rave for amnesty for invaders across the nation in late September and early October, 2003. Cardenas is a hypocrite, and he endangers the lives and well being of citizens in this country on a daily basis. He is not a lawmaker, he is a traitor and a supporter of lawbreakers.

El Salvadoran migrant arrested in schoolgirl's rape
...Ulrich Mejia, a 15-year Los Angeles resident from El Salvador, was being held at the Van Nuys Jail in lieu of $2.3 million bail. He previously had been on probation for a 1997 drunken-driving conviction. -- "I hope and pray that we have the right person in custody and we will bring him to justice," Councilman Tony Cardenas said.
