For years, self-appointed "spokespersons" "activists" and "civil rights leaders" of varying ethnic background have presented the case, in no uncertain terms, that "whites" are the racists in this society. We're blocking their progress, and maintaining minority groups in single-race ghettos, they say. BUT, when Congressional representatives, elected from districts that are overwhelmingly African American or Mexican have those power-bases threatened by redistricting, what's the first charge they level? Why, "racism" of course! While mouthing platitudes about "rainbow coalitions" or "diversity", they use every means available, including appeals to activist jurists, to maintain their districts' racial purity. "I can't have [Hispanics Blacks, Asians, whatever] in my district," they say, "that would deny my constituents representation!". What they really mean is: "I could get thrown out of office, and have to find a REAL JOB." Of course, the real irony here is that without mass immigration, states like CA and TX wouldn't have new districts, packed with non-voting immigrants, in the first place!
