MORE COMMENTS ABOUT AMERICAN PATROL

Word about American Patrol's plan to discontinue online reporting spread quickly Friday and the response was overwhelming. We are continuing to receive e-mails. Below are some we got today and late yesterday. Please remember, American Patrol is not part of American Border Patrol. Donations are not tax deductible. American Patrol will try hard to continue the service.

Dear Glenn,

I know that you have received many pleas to continue your work and I add mine here.

When I got my computer your site was one of the first I came across. Like most other Americans I had no idea of the trouble we were (are) in from illegal immigration. I became a writer and submitted my work to various sites and my work appears on some of them. Your daily offerings helped me immensely. It gave me the education I needed and also the impetus to keep writing when I would just as soon quit. Your site is the only one I access every day.

As a writer I knew I had "arrived" when one of my articles appeared on American Patrol. I have since seen more of my articles from time to time. My articles have been almost exclusively about illegal immigration, as I feel that if we don't get this under control we will not have the mechanisms and institutions with which to fix any others.

Thank you for your dedication to bringing attention to this immense problem. You have given me a voice I would not have had otherwise.

Good wishes,

Barbara Anderson

Dear Glenn, I have been looking to ABP for years for my illegal immigration news. I will be losing a friend soon. I am an Illinois Minuteman, a protector of the faith, a warrior, an AMERICAN! I will miss ABP like a BROTHER! Thank you for all you have done. David S. Martin.

Glenn - you should consider putting a PayPal "Donate" button on the AP site.

Thanks, Al

Dear Glenn: Thanks to you and your Webmaster Tom for all of your hard work!_PLEASE reconsider the future of American Patrol we need the information it provides to fight the open borders lobby and the Presidents amnesty push in 2007! This is way to important for the future of all Americans thank you so much for all you have done America needs you!

Regards, Cindy Johnson Battle Ground, WA 98604

Geez Glenn!

Don't scare us like that anymore! I check your site at least once everyday and when the weather is bad more often because of being housebound. I have sent this site to as many people as I can think of and it has been quite an eye opener. Since i have been involved with a large H-2B program I'm pretty savvy on illegal aliens and the lengths they will go to. We have some great guys on the program, but we also have many who came up here to be gang bangers. When we report them to the state agency which is ONSITE for the work area, they go to all measures to cover up FOR THEM!!! That would be the Arizona Department of Racing! There I said it. O.K. Will get my check in the mail to you Monday. Thanks for all you do.

P.S. Found out about you in The Sonoran Newspaper.

I read ABP report every single day for the last ten years! Please keep the machine strong and the word out.

Thanks, Ken

Mr. Spencer,

I am a 17 year old High School student who frequents your site often for updates about the 'silent war' that is illegal immigration. Recently I read that you were planning on halting American Patrol reports, but was relieved to see that due to a public outcry you reconsidered such plans. I realize I can't fully comprehend the fiscal and mental burdens of keeping such a site operational, but it is a valuable resource that would be dearly missed. I just wanted you to know that people of all ages, young and older, appreciate what you're doing. I plan on doing an article on the subject of Illegal Immigration in the school newspaper, and hope to use your website as a source of valuable information.

Thank you, and God Bless.

Dear Mr. Spencer: I wrote you yesterday to express my deep appreciation for the service American Patrol Online has provided to ordinary U.S. citizens like myself in informing ourselves to fight intelligently against the combined efforts of many people to literally dismantle and destroy our country through massive and unchecked foreign immigration. Later, I received an "alert" from the Dustin Inman Society stating that you might be persuaded to continue your invaluable service if enough people expressed their wishes that you do so. I turned on my computer to do that today, and find, to my delight, that you have consented to try to carry on with this invaluable service, even with your increased efforts at the border itself. The continuation of American Patrol Online is of VITAL importance at this particular time, when bi-partisan forces have spent the Congressional "Winter Break" planning their joint push to pass an even broader "Amnesty/Guestworker" Bill when Congress reconvenes! I know it is a lot for you and your excellent Webmaster, but your willingness to try to go another "extra mile" with American Patrol Online is indeed wonderful news for Americans! Thank you both so much for your outstanding service toward the preservation of our unique and beloved Republic, and a very Happy New Year.

Sincerely, Kathryn Bell -- Frisco, TX

Glenn - please reconsider keeping news items related to illegal immigration, I use it EVERYDAY and often send links to friend and relatives who are also interested in the illegal invasion of our nation.

Dear American Patrol:

Thank you very much for reconsidering. There are some most patriotic Americans among your readers, unconditionally committed to this nation and its a well-being. The cream of the cream, I would say. They have nowhere else to go for comprehensive, truthful, and unbiased coverage issues related to immigration, sovereignty, and patriotism. Please, don't leave them with nothing.

I visit APR on a daily basis, often several times a day. Although I searched around for a replacement, no other website comes even close to yours. You are doing wonderful job, whether you are aware of it or not. And the American Patrol became a legend, hated by our sworn enemies. It would strengthen their resolve to conquer our country and subdue us to their control if you stopped publishing it.

I understand that other responsibilities may not leave you with enough resources to continue publication of the APR. I hope it's not the case, but if so then, perhaps, you might consider opening a search for the editorial board or something similar to that effect. I am sure that many good Americans would be glad to contribute their effort to this invaluable project. This should make your job much easier and less demanding.

I wish you all the best

M.A.D.

THANK YOU for keeping the newslink website going. I read it daily and occasionally send contributions from Oregon news links. It means a lot to me keep up via web because I am disabled and do not travel or get out much. However, many of the news stories I read on American Patrol inspired me to contact senators, governors and others to voice opinion on government-ignored illegal immigration issue.

THANK YOU!!!

Dear Mr. Spencer, I just received an email from WFIR that you are going to discontinue your news site. I want to tell you how valuable it has been. I have read it almost everyday for years and have contributed many links. Your site has played an important part in changing me from a Bush supporter in 2000 to an independent voter in 2004. For four years my wife, who happens to be an American citizen originally from Taiwan, and I have been contributing to the campaigns of Tom Tancredo and many other politicians and organizations which are working to stop the culture and values that made this country great from being destroyed by immigrants who care nothing for them. Again, without your site it would have taken us longer to realize the danger this country is in.

Every morning after checking my e-mails, I usually read the Drudge Report followed by American Patrol, then VDARE, and finally WorldNetDaily.

So thank you for the invaluable service you have done this country. If you are unable to continue the site, I urge you to try to find a qualified person to hand it to who will keep up the important work. We hope American values can still be preserved if enough people become aware of the danger. Sincerely, Brian Riordan and Shih-Yi Kuan

Dear Glenn -

I'm sorry to hear that you are considering closing your site. I must admit that until D.A. King let us know about it; I was unaware of your efforts.

As a 48-year resident of California I have watched with concern as our state has become polluted with illegals that have jammed up every city, county and state resource available. We continue to close hospitals that are mandated to treat them in the emergency rooms and then don't pay their bills; schools that were not prepared to educate them and that are not paying county taxes for the education and free breakfast/lunch programs that the federal govt mandates must be provided or schools do not qualify for federal funding in other areas.

The educational levels in our school systems have been de-valued through the 'no child left behind' act which has served to hold all the children back to embrace the stragglers.

Although there has been the seasonal 'drop' in illegal crossings - we should not be convinced that this is due to pressure at the border. I have seen this seasonal decrease every winter and summer for the last 30 years. They wait for the weather to provide a safer (via weather) crossing. But whatever decrease is due to the national guard and your efforts is much needed.

Thank you and take care - S. Winthrop
