A couple of weeks ago I was driving home at about 4:00 AM when I spotted three illegal aliens standing at the turnoff to my house (which is also a bus stop).  I stopped, and they asked if I was there to pick them up. I told them no; I asked them if they were illegals, and if they were here for work. They answered in the affirmative to both. I then told them that they needed to move on because they were standing at a children's bus stop. They then asked me to take them to Taco Bell, or to a Motel (they didn't say which Motel). I told them that I would not do that, and I again told them to leave the area. They just lay down again.

I went home and called Border Patrol's 800 number, where I spoke to a very rude operator(?) who answered the phone with "Hello", after I determined that I was speaking with the Border patrol he tried to transfer me to Naco, after several rings and no answer the same person growled, "Hold on!" and I was transferred again. This time the phone was answered, again with "Hello". I asked him if this was the Border Patrol and he said yes; I asked if they served the Hereford area, and he didn't know; I listened as he asked someone else and they said yes. I told him what happened he said ok, after getting the street address wrong 5 times, he said they would send someone out.

I checked at 5:00 AM, and the three men were still sleeping at the bus stop. At 5:30 they were still there.

I called the Sheriff, since the High School kids catch the bus there at around 6:00 AM, and they asked me if I had called Border Patrol. I told them that I had, at about 4:20 AM.

They said they would take care of it, and I went back to the bus stop to ensure that at least I was there when the kids showed up. At about 5:50 the BP arrived and took the men.

This is just one of many instances, but I thought it was quite frustrating. I want to throw up every time I hear a politician talk about Homeland security, or Bush talk about protecting the citizens from domestic terrorism while he does nothing about the thousands of people who cross our borders illegally every day.

I wish the mainstream media would report the things that happen daily here in occupied territory, USA; but I doubt if anyone would care.

After all, it's not their children's bus stop.
