| Protesters target Tancredo (Rocky Mountain News, 11/1/02) -- CAIR threw a rally in front of Webb's office over his shameless approval of Denver's acceptance of Mexican sham ID cards, in spite of national security concerns. -- Tancredo: "We can't have two immigration policies in this country," Tancredo said before rushing outside to meet television cameras. "There are legal ramifications to these decisions. This is serious, and it's something we can't ignore." -- Webb's spokesman, Andrew Hudson, dismissed the criticism. -- "Tom Tancredo is the perfect Halloween goblin," Hudson said Thursday from his city hall office. "You don't know whether to scream in fright . . . or laugh in his face because he's so ridiculous." |
