I am writing in response to your article, "Identity card for immigrants", dated December 12, 2001.

Imagine being unable to call 911 to report a crime because you might be immediately detained for BEING A PROSTITUTE, DRUG DEALER, EXTORTIONIST, MURDERER, RAPIST, CHILD MOLESTER, KIDNAPPER, TAX EVADER, DELINQUENT IN CHILD SUPPORT, BANK ROBBER, EMBEZZLER, ETC.

There is nothing like unbiased, objective, high quality journalism. Keep up the great work.
