Re: Town pushes redevelopment Gilbert residents forced out of trailer park

Story about a blighted trailer park about to be razed, and the likely majority of the park are illegals. The city will help them move to better housing.

Note the family who "moved" from Mexico to the trailer park 2 years ago. "Moved" is the the Republic's euphemism they like to use rather than "illegally snuck into the US." What Mexican can simply up and "move" to the US?

I am outraged that the city is willing to pay and relocate illegals to find new housing - likely better housing, as Gilbert is an affluent community. I'd say Gilbert is not only aiding and abetting, but facilitating, if not enabling their illegal presence. Two years, and somehow the city gov't owes them relocation expenses and new housing? Isn't that the risk you take when you decide to settle in the US illegally, is the uncertainty of housing and constant moving? What a racket! Sounds to me like the Red Cross should be finding them a new place to live (a non-government entity), or better yet, the city could buy them bus tickets back to Mexico, where they can live anywhere they want.
