STOP HARBORING CRIMINALS IN COSTA MESA! CLOSE THE JOB CENTER!

How did the illegal alien terrorists who helped destroy the World Trade Center and part of the Pentagon get away with it?

They simply came across our borders, and no one cared to check their ID cards. One can almost hear some local government officials saying "Golly, that's not our job, that's the job of the INS.

Several months ago, a local newsletter called the CM PRESS investigated

Costa Mesa's Job Center and found that ID's were not being properly checked by city personnel. The CM PRESS then asked the city employee in charge of the Job Center about this, and he told the newsletter that the two women at the Job Center accept just about any ID presented that is not written in crayon. GOOD GRIEF! The CM PRESS reported on this sad state of affairs and they notified the City Council about this, yet the City Council chooses to look the other way and put Costa Mesa citizens in danger from criminals who are using city operated facilities THAT CITIZENS PAY FOR.

The OC REGISTER is reporting in its Sept. 17 edition that when she was asked about illegal aliens using Costa Mesa's Job Center, Libby Cowan, the Mayor of Costa Mesa said "We are not INS agents.

At least one citizen of Costa Mesa has been murdered by an illegal alien who was using the Job Center. They have also been involved in local burglaries and other crimes.

Car thefts are up 21% over last year in Costa Mesa. Is there a link to the Job Center?

The Sept. 8, DAILY PILOT had an article on the Job Center in which two men who use the center said that they don't know anyone who has legal papers.

That is consistent with what the CM PRESS reported about the Job Center. THE PLACE IS AN ILLEGAL ALIEN CENTER! Also, more than 50% of the employers who use the center don't live in Costa Mesa, yet it costs citizens of Costa Mesa about $ 130,000 per year to operate.

On Monday, Sept. 17th, the Costa Mesa City Council is going to discuss the Job Center. None of the City Council members live on the Westside of Costa Mesa where the Job Center is located, and only Council member Chris Steel is strongly for closing it down. Local lefty establishment members including big charity businesses and big industrial firms, want the Job Center to remain in Costa Mesa because they get a ready supply of charity clients in the first instance and cheap labor (subsidized by the big charities) in the second.

The City Council doesn't want to anger the lefty establishment, so it probably won't vote to close the Job Center. Interestingly, none of the five City Council members actually live on the Westside of Costa Mesa which has been turned into ground zero for illegal aliens. This once nice part of the city has been driven down to Third World levels, partly because the Job Center has been there since 1988. None of the NIMBY Council Members wants the Job Center in their neighborhoods and they don't, as already mentioned, want to anger the lefty establishment, so they are expected to keep the Job Center in operation in the same location.

This City Council will also discuss the issue of one of the "children" of the Job Center--the nuisance produce trucks that now ply the neo-slums of Costa Mesa to serve the illegal aliens.

Here's another effect in Costa Mesa of the Job Center and its progeny. According to the 8th Annual Best of Orange County, published by the Orange County Register on September 14, the best Orange County cities to live in, are:

1. Huntington Beach; 2. Irvine; 3. Newport Beach

You will note that Costa Mesa is missing from the list. It wasn't even a runner up. The "odd" thing about this, is that if you look at a map you'll see that Costa Mesa is surrounded by the three winners! Odd? Not really. The reason is because Costa Mesa is swamped with illegal aliens.

Want some more clues about what happens when a local government actually helps illegal aliens? The Sept. 15, edition of the OC REGISTER reports that Pomona Elementary, a grade school in Costa Mesa; and both high schools in the city: Costa Mesa High School and Estancia High School are underperforming schools and that the State of California may have to intervene.

If your city is thinking of opening a job center, consider the above sad example of a once fine city, and start speaking out.
