THEY ARE NOT BREAKING THE LAW

In an article by Associated Press (see [1]), Isabel Garcia was quoted saying: "credible studies show that [Mexican illegal aliens] are not involved in law breaking any more than the native born population".
Yeah, right. Except for: willfully and knowingly violating the international border, trashing the environment, breaking the U.S. immigration laws; driving without a license, using fake documents in order to seek employment (by law, reserved for Americans and legal residents), obtain bank credit, and claim public benefits; evading income taxes; and other violations of various codes and ordinances.
As to "credible studies", the most credible information comes from criminal statistics. Mexicans (referred to as "Hispanics") are over-represented in state and federal penitentiaries by a margin of about 3 to 2 when compared to native population (see [2]). Illegal drug smuggling and trafficking remains a Mexican Mafia's domain. Drive-by shooting and other kinds of violence are mostly due to omnipresent Mexican gangs that rooted themselves even in American public schools (see [2]). And if you want to check out how "law-abiding" Mexicans are, go to a traffic court near you and see for yourself what is the nationality of a majority of defendants there. Or read "Immigration Statistics" (a highly recommended Internet publication; see [3], section "Crime") to get a more comprehensive picture.
For quite a long time now, Ms. Garcia apparently has been trying to make fools of Americans with her deceptive comments and claims. Unfortunately for her, there is the Internet where everybody can find out if what she is saying is true. So, she is just making a fool of herself. I wish someone told her so.
