Charlie Schroeder of the Georgia Dept. of Labor (404-232-7380) says this Saturday's scheduled use of the City of Valdosta Dept. of Labor office to issue Matricula Consular cards has been canceled. He confirmed the event had been planned but now was canceled, saying only, "Someone at the (Mexican) Consulate had gotten ahead of themselves."
Evidently a lot of citizens were complaining because the news got out. Thanks for publicizing and thanks for the response of so many readers.
