Citizens launch drones to patrol Mexican border
Immigrant groups fear vigilance will turn to violence
Washington -- The Department of Homeland Security is considering the use of unmanned drones along U.S. borders to find illegal immigrants, but a citizen group is beating the agency to the punch.
Note: According to Glenn Spencer, head of
American Border Patrol
, this week the Border Hawk UAVs will be used to send video of the Mexican border area live over the Internet.
