Calls for Return of Prop. 187 to the Courts Walnut Creek (ABP) In a stunning move
that separated him from the rest of the field of candidates seeking
to replace California governor Gray Davis in the October 7 recall
election, State Senator Tom McClintock pledged during a televised
debate to return Proposition 187 to the courts. If this is done,
California could well turn the tide against illegal immigration.
