Defeat Measure to Enforce Laws Against Sanctuary Cities
An amendment to the Homeland Security
bill that would have put teeth in the 1996 law that prohibits
municipalities from refusing to cooperate with the INS was defeated
with the help of 122 Republicans. Not one Democrat voted for
the bill. View roll
