American Border Patrol By Air
First use of Skyhawk proves valuable

Douglas 2/18/03 (ABP) -- The first use of a Cessna Skyhawk SP by American Border Patrol proved useful as two groups of potential border crossers (PBCs) were spotted just south of the U.S./Mexico border west of Douglas, Arizona. One group was seen just south of a railroad trestle about 1000 feet inside Mexico. The other group was seen on a hillside just to the west of the trestle. ABP also used the flight to photograph footpaths leading into the U.S.
