To Isabel Garcia:
As an indigenous Native American US tribal Indian, I am offended and appalled at your premise that the land you stand on is the land of Mexicans.
The lands comprising the United States were the lands of the US tribes, which Mexicans are not and have never been, which the Aztec were not, which the Maya were not.
It is interesting that you "reconquistas" are using the map of Spanish claimed lands to define your "aztlan". The Spaniards who invaded our lands from Europe were not indigenous to this continent. Mexicans are indigenous to Mexico. The Aztec were indigenous to a small valley just north of Mexico city, and were one of the smallest in number and shortest lived civilizations in the history of the world.
The entire "aztlan myth" was made up on a California college campus, by the MEChA organization, in the late 1960s to justify the breaking of our nations laws. Spokesmen for MEChA are quick to admit that "aztlan" is not truth, calling it "an imaginary place" when questioned by the media.
You are spreading lies about the history of this country. In your "rewriting" of our nations history, you are stepping on the history of our U.S. Native tribes and burying it. You had better be careful, we Native American US tribal Indians are well aware of your words and your agenda, sooner or later you are going to have to face the music. Your position, based on lies, will be an embarrassment to you.
It is reprehensible that you publicly align yourself with an anti-US movement, and spend an inordinate amount of your energy touting the lies of the "reconquistas", and still hold a position with the public defenders office. Your paycheck comes out of the pockets of tax payers.

11/18/02Thank you for posting the audio of that loathsome, wicked Isabel Garcia. I have never heard such a bunch of crap in my life. It's hard to believe that Pima County taxpayers are stuck with covering the paycheck of the despicable, rotten traitor, and ever more difficult to believe that she hasn't been fired yet. That #$!&% ought to be in prison for encouraging more illegals to sneak into the country. --- JD - Glendale, AZ
