Spencer defends
his border plan
   Declaring he is being unfairly labeled a racist, Glenn Spencer said what is happening along the U.S.-Mexico border is harming both countries.
   The controversial founder of the American Border Patrol told a Sierra Vista audience Friday that because people don't like his idea that more must be done to tighten the border, they try to paint him and his followers as hatemongers.
   The former Californian, who also leads Voice of Citizens Together, has moved to Cochise County to get his American Border Patrol started.
   Friday, he shared the guest speaker honors at a meeting of the SouthEast Republican Club with Tom Liddy, the executive director and counselor for the Institute for Justice. --- More.........
