Protest
draws no more than two from Sierra Vista
According to the Sierra
Vista Herald, nine people protested against American Patrol
and Roger Barnett in Sierra Vista yesterday.
The paper reported that the group was drawn from
eight Arizona towns, including Tucson and Bisbee.
"This little band of open borders advocates
does not represent the vast majority of Americans," said
Glenn Spencer of American Border Patrol. "Despite all their
efforts and the support of the local newspaper, they could find
no more than two people from Sierra Vista to join their protest,"
Spencer added.
Asked why the Herald played the puny protest up so
big, Spencer observed, "We've had protests with up to 700
people that the L.A. Times refused to report. We are familiar
with the tactics of newspapers who promote all who oppose U.S.
sovereignty. After all, we've fought the Los Angeles Times for
twelve years." |
