7/21/02 -- My husband and I live in Hereford at the very back of a canyon. Yesterday morning after the lifting of the ban on hikers in the Coronado by the Forestry Dept. we took our first hike in several weeks.

We saw, as we always do evidence of illegals everywhere. Debris, clothes, a small cave that is in constant use as a sleeping spot which had obviously just been vacated. There is a spring at the head of the canyon that has so much litter and garbage I fear for the wildlife that shares it with the illegals.

And yes, the border patrol knows. And yes we have repeatedly informed them of activity in this area. But...

What I would like is more information from you on the group you are forming here and who is yor contact person in our area.
