SENT VIA FAX

TO: CONGRESSMAN SCOTT MCINNIS ® COLORADO

FROM: ROBERT W. LUPPI,

RE: HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 220:

"The Sovereign American Borders Resolution"
Dear Congressman McInnis:

You will recall that I wrote to you on October 5, 2001 relative to my calling upon you to co-sponsor House Concurrent Resolution 220: "The Sovereign American Borders Resolution". A copy of my aforesaid letter is enclosed herewith for your easy reference.

As you know, the terms of the resolution are quite simple and not complicated at all. I trust that you are now aware of this Resolution (or at least you should be aware of the same), particularly because it was introduced on September 6, 2001, five (5) days before the September 11 massacre and since then we have sustained 5,000 dead, 9,000 wounded and 10,000 to 15,000 children who have lost at least one parent in this tragedy. More recently, our Country has sustained anthrax attacks, resulting in deaths and injuries to Americans, and just today, Americans have been alerted to another possible imminent terrorist attack, all from within our own borders. We are at war, as you know!

The matter of protecting our borders and enforcing our immigration laws is of the most paramount importance at this time. Lives and our American way of life are at stake and as you know, our country's most fundamental responsibility to its citizens is to protect and safeguard them.

Accordingly, as I have not yet heard from you relative to your position as regards to co-sponsoring this extremely important Resolution, I ask that you advise me in writing whether or not you will in fact co-sponsor the same. If I do not hear from you within fifteen (15) days of the date of this letter, I shall assume very correctly that you are opposed to co-sponsoring the same.

Very truly yours,

ROBERT W. LUPPI

C: Honorable Tom Tancredo® Colorado
