Penal Code section 114 and the judges attitude

You might want to know that the Judges in Eastern Riverside County will throw out any case filed under C.P.C. section 114. As a police officer with the city of Indio I arrested numerous illegal aliens on this charge. The case was thrown out everytime in the interest of justice. Usually the family came to the preliminary hearing and started crying about the six kids the suspect needed to support. The system is a joke when then judges won't enforce the laws as written. I stopped arresting people for section 114, it was a waste of time. A very, very sad but true story.
